Particular interest in musculo-skeletal medicine, cardiovascular fitness and injury prevention prior to sport. Educated and trained in the UK graduating from Aberdeen University with Biochemistry Honours in 1980 and later in Medicine in 1988. Settled on the Gold Coast in 1992. David wrote a thesis on the incidence of cardiac arrythmias associated with competitive squash. Recently completed a Masters degree in Sports Medicine via the University of NSW Completed a research project on injury prevention by means of conditioning prior to competition. David helped establish the Aberdeen Sports Injury Clinic in his final under graduate year and has worked in Sports Medicine since. David worked at the A.I.S. In Canberra.Sports Medicine
